To my concerned friends!

The mystery illness was most probably caused by a spider bite. I'm a lot more wary of spiders now than I was before!
I spent a week in Cape Town convalescing, thanks to my employer, and to my cousin Adam. I am enormously grateful to both! The sunshine, hospitality, and excellent food speeded my recovery.

Now I'm in the process of interviewing for a new post, as my contract here ends in April. Life is hectic! I shall be in Amsterdam next week for an interview, and will freeze: I left all my winter clothes in Melbourne, never thinking that I might need them here!

There's much more that I would like to write, but it's already past my bedtime. Good night!
